April 22, 2023: Aurora, IL 60504 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) and the visiting Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL), saw Waubonsie Valley's volleyball squad beat Maine East by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Waubonsie Valley upgrades its record to 6-11 on the year. The Warriors travel to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 26. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-19. Plainfield Central lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL)
The Blue Demons now own a 6-17 record. They play next when they host Niles North for a Central Suburban North bout on Tuesday, April 25. Maine East will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 19-4.
