California High School Softball - Roosevelt bounces Saugus
April 22, 2023: Saugus, CA 91350 Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA), 11-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millikan for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Roosevelt will face a Rams squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to La Serna (Whittier, CA). The Rams record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Saugus falls to 18-3 on the campaign. The Centurions host Canyon (Canyon Country, CA) to face the Cowboys in a challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Cowboys enter the challenge with a record of 4-8. Canyon won 13-2 in their recent league challenge against Hart (Newhall, CA)
