Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Curry Yellowjackets (Jasper, AL), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 27-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vestavia Hills for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Helena will face a Rebels squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Prattville (Prattville, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 33-6.

With the loss, Curry falls to 31-9 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Lawrence County (Moulton, AL) to face the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 22-14.
