Seymour Owls (Seymour, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN), 12-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Owls now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plainfield for a non-league game on Saturday, April 22. Seymour will clash with a Quakers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN). The Quakers record now stands at 5-6.
