Hunterdon Central Red Devils (Flemington, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Morris Catholic Crusaders (Denville, NJ), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Hunterdon for a Skyland - Delaware West challenge on Monday, April 24. Hunterdon Central will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 4-0.
