New York High School Softball - Kellenberg Memorial bounces Shenendehowa
April 22, 2023: Uniondale, NY 11553 Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds (Uniondale, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Firebirds now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Trinity for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. Kellenberg Memorial will battle a Titans squad coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Our Lady of Mercy Academy (Syosset, NY). The Titans record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Shenendehowa falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Plainsmen travel to Hudson Falls (Hudson Falls, NY) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. Hudson Falls won 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Scotia-Glenville (Scotia, NY)
