Kentucky High School Softball - McCracken County bounces Montgomery County
April 22, 2023: Mt. Sterling, KY 40353 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) and the host Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY), witnessed McCracken County's softball squad tip Montgomery County by a count of 16-9.
The Mustangs now sport a 18-3 record. They play next when they host Marion for a non-league match on Monday, April 24. McCracken County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-4.
With the loss, Montgomery County moves to 13-4 on the season. The Indians travel to Pulaski County (Somerset, KY) to meet the Maroons in a non-league match on Saturday, April 22. The Maroons go into the match with a record of 10-6. Pulaski County won 18-2 in their recent non-league match against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY)
