The North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN) softball routed the visiting West Vigo Vikings (West Terre Haute, IN), 12-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Vikings (10-0) will now prepare for their bout against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Patriots enter the Pocket challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Heritage Hills was routed by Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

With the loss, West Vigo falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN) to face the Braves in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 5-10. Terre Haute South Vigo won 8-1 in their recent league challenge against Southport (Indianapolis, IN)
