Illinois High School Baseball - Centennial loses to Champaign Central
April 22, 2024: Champaign, IL 61821 The Champaign Central Maroons baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Centennial Chargers to 5 in the Maroons league victory on Monday.
The Maroons (12-10) will now prepare for their match against Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL). The Irish go into the Big Twelve match with a 12-4 record. In their last match, Peoria Notre Dame edged Danville (Danville, IL), 12-7, in a league match.
The Chargers (2-11) will now prepare for their match against Richwoods (Peoria, IL). The Knights go into the Big Twelve match with a 6-10 record. In their last match, Richwoods was overwhelmed by Normal Community (Normal, IL), 17-0, in a league match.
