Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC), 5-4 in a league test.

With the win, Gaston Christian upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Concord Academy (Concord, NC) to battle the Eagles in a NICSAA Metrolina test on Tuesday, April 23. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 12-4. Concord Academy won 13-1 in their recent non-league test against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC)

With the defeat, Metrolina Christian Academy falls to 21-1 on the season. The Warriors host Combine Academy National (Lincolnton, NC) to battle the Goats in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 23.
