South Carolina High School Soccer - Hampton County knocks off Whale Branch
April 22, 2024: Varnville, SC 29944 Hampton County Hurricanes (Varnville, SC) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Whale Branch Warriors (Beaufort, SC), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hurricanes confront the Silver Bluff Bulldogs (Aiken, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 25. Hampton County will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC).
The Warriors now have a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Branchville for a A Region 7 challenge on Thursday, April 25. Whale Branch will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 4-3 league win over Bamberg-Ehrhardt (Bamberg, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-7.
