April 22, 2024: Bedford, MA 01730 The Bedford Buccaneers routed the visiting Burlington Red Devils softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Buccaneers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Lincoln-Sudbury nudged Silver Lake Regional (Kingston, MA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Red Devils now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Belmont for a Middlesex battle on Wednesday, April 24. Burlington will meet a Marauders squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA). The Marauders record now stands at 5-2.
