Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD), 19-1 in a league challenge.

The Braves now own a 15-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Charles for a Southern Maryland challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Chopticon will battle a squad coming off a 18-5 league win over Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Great Mills falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to McDonough (Pomfret, MD) to battle the Rams in a Southern Maryland challenge on Wednesday, April 24.
