Maine High School Softball - Windham bounces Deering
April 22, 2024: Windham, ME 04062 The crowd at Monday's league match between the Windham Eagles (Windham, ME) and the visiting Deering Rams (Portland, ME), saw Windham's softball squad nip Deering by a count of 6-0.
The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thornton Academy for a Class A South match on Wednesday, April 24. Windham will face a Trojans squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to Scarborough (Scarborough, ME). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Deering falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rams host Westbrook (Westbrook, ME) to face the Blue Blazes in a Class A South match on Wednesday, April 24. The Blue Blazes enter the match with a record of 0-2. Westbrook lost 16-7 in their recent league match against Biddeford (Biddeford, ME)
