New York High School Softball - Griffith Institute bounces Eden
April 22, 2024: Springville, NY 14141 In Monday's league match, the host Griffith Institute Griffins softball team scored a tight 8-2 win over the Eden Raiders.
The Griffins (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Tonawanda (Tonawanda, NY). The Warriors come into the Section 6 Erie County IV match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Tonawanda nipped Amherst Central (Amherst, NY), 3-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Raiders confront the East Aurora Blue Devils (East Aurora, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County III match, on Tuesday, April 23. Eden will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Blue Devils come into the match with a 3-0 record after their 12-0 league win over Tapestry (Buffalo, NY).
