The Goshen Central Gladiators triumphed over the visiting Monticello Panthers softball squad by a count of 13-1 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Gladiators meet the Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY) in a Orange County Division III challenge, on Wednesday, April 24. Goshen Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 11-5 non-league win over Saugerties (Saugerties, NY).

The Panthers (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Dragons enter the Orange County Division III challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Cornwall Central overcame Chester (Chester, NY), 11-1, in a non-league challenge.
