April 22, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23322 In Monday's non-league contest, the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Nandua Warriors (Onley, VA), by a margin of 8-2.
With the triumph, Hickory moves its record to 10-1 on the year. The Hawks host Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Wildcats in a Southeastern contest on Tuesday, April 23. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 5-4. Great Bridge lost 4-0 in their recent league contest against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA)
In their next game, the Warriors play the Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA) in a Eastern Shore contest, on Thursday, April 25. Nandua will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Ponies come into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 11-1 league win over Arcadia (Oak Hall, VA).
