Minnesota High School Softball - Zimmerman holds off Mound-Westonka
April 22, 2024: Zimmerman, MN 55398 The Zimmerman Thunder the visiting Mound-Westonka White Hawks softball squad by a count of 11-9 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Thunder (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Chisago Lakes Area nudged North Branch (North Branch, MN), 6-4, in a league battle.
The White Hawks now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Jordan for a Wright County battle on Tuesday, April 23. Mound-Westonka will meet a Hubmen / Jaguars squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN). The Hubmen / Jaguars record now stands at 1-1.
