Kentucky High School Softball - Nelson County bounces Thomas Nelson
April 22, 2024: Bardstown, KY 40004 The Nelson County Cardinals routed the host Thomas Nelson Generals softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Monday's league battle.
The Cardinals (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Jeffersontown (Louisville, KY). The Chargers go into the non-league battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, Jeffersontown was routed by Whitefield Academy (Louisville, KY), 12-1, in a league battle.
The Generals now sport a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to John Hardin for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 24. Thomas Nelson will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-11.
