The Faith Christian Patriots (Rocky Mount, NC) baseball the host SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harnett Central for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. Faith Christian will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Arendell Parrott Academy (Kinston, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 12-8.

With the defeat, SouthWest Edgecombe drops to 12-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to West Craven (Vanceboro, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a Eastern Plains 2A challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 5-12.
