North Carolina High School Softball - High Point Central succumbs to Atkins

April 22, 2025: Winston-Salem, NC 27101

In Tuesday's league test, the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), by a tally of 23-12.

Next, the Camels clash with the Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC) in a Mid-State 3A test, on Friday, April 25. Atkins will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 16-1 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Reagan (Pfafftown, NC).

The Bison (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the Mid-State 3A test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Ben L. Smith was routed by Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC), 7-0, in a league test.
