April 22, 2025: Gainesville, MO 65655 Gainesville Bulldogs (Gainesville, MO) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Bakersfield Lions (Bakersfield, MO), 11-2 in a league game.
With the triumph, Gainesville upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Conway (Conway, MO) to play the Bears in a non-league game on Friday, April 25. The Bears enter the game with a record of 2-15.
The Lions now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Winona for a non-league game on Thursday, April 24. Bakersfield will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-9 league win over Couch (Myrtle, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-9.
