Michigan High School Softball - Big Rapids bounces Tri County Area
April 22, 2025: Howard City, MI 49329 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI) and the host Tri County Area Vikings (Howard City, MI), observed Big Rapids's softball team prevail over Tri County Area by a tally of 22-3.
The Cardinals (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Newaygo (Newaygo, MI). The Lions go into the Central State Activities Association-Gold bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Newaygo knocked off Grant (Grant, MI), 8-6, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Chippewa Hills Warriors (Remus, MI) in a Central State Activities Association-Gold bout, on Wednesday, April 23. Tri County Area will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 7-1 league win over Reed City (Reed City, MI).
