Tennessee High School Softball - Briarcrest Christian bested by Tipton-Rosemark Academy

The Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels triumphed over the visiting Briarcrest Christian Saints softball squad by a count of 14-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Rebels play the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles (Cordova, TN) in a D II-AA West challenge, on Thursday, April 24. Tipton-Rosemark Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 20-14 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Brighton (Brighton, TN).

The Saints (5-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Arlington (Arlington, TN). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 13-11 record. In their last challenge, Arlington overcame Collierville (Collierville, TN), 4-3, in a league challenge.
