April 22, 2025: Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ) and the visiting Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ), observed Scotch Plains-Fanwood's softball team get by Cranford by a tally of 7-4.
The Raiders (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ). The Minutemen go into the non-league bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Elizabeth tipped Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ), 19-9, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ) in a UCC - Watchung bout, on Thursday, April 24. Cranford will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 12-3 league win over Dayton (Springfield, NJ).
