The Mountain Pointe Pride softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Desert Edge Scorpions to 4 in the Pride non-league win on Tuesday.

The Pride now sport a 8-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alhambra for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 24. Mountain Pointe will encounter a Lions team coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to ALA - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 6-14.

With the loss, Desert Edge moves to 9-13 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ) to encounter the Knights in a non-league battle on Monday, April 28. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 21-7. Arizona College Prep lost 3-2 in their recent league battle against Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ)
