Virginia High School Softball - Fort Defiance bounces Waynesboro
April 22, 2025: Fort Defiance, VA 24437 The Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) softball routed the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 21-4 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Indians now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverheads for a Shenandoah outing on Friday, April 25. Fort Defiance will encounter a Gladiators team coming off a 11-7 league loss to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Gladiators record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Waynesboro moves to 0-9 on the season. The Little giants travel to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA) to encounter the Cougars in a Shenandoah outing on Thursday, April 24. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 5-6. Stuarts Draft lost 15-6 in their recent league outing against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA)
