April 22, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27408 In Tuesday's league match, the host Grimsley Whirlies softball team scored a tight 23-22 win over the Page Pirates.
The Whirlies (5-12) will now prepare for their match against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys come into the Metro 4A match with a 11-8 record. In their last match, Southwest Guilford nipped Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC), 14-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Pirates confront the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A match, on Wednesday, April 23. Page will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Nighthawks come into the match with a 16-4 record after their 19-0 league win over Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
