The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) and the host Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), observed Mountain View's softball team get by Milpitas by a tally of 5-2.

The Spartans (7-8) will now prepare for their bout against Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA). The Chargers go into the De Anza bout with a 7-12 record. In their last bout, Wilcox was routed by Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA), 13-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA) in a De Anza bout, on Thursday, April 24. Milpitas will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to Westmont (Campbell, CA).
