The Northwestern Tigers softball squad (Kokomo, IN), was routed 12-2 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN)

With the triumph, Western improves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Noblesville (Noblesville, IN) to face the Millers in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 24. The Millers enter the contest with a record of 7-0. Noblesville won 8-6 in their recent league contest against Franklin Central (Indianapolis, IN)

The Tigers now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Whitko for a Three Rivers contest on Wednesday, April 23. Northwestern will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Triton (Bourbon, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-2.
