In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Upper St. Clair Panthers softball team scored a tight 6-3 victory over the Moon Area Tigers.

The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Southmoreland (Alverton, PA). The Scotties go into the non-league match with a 1-12 record.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 27. Moon Area will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Jaguars go into the match with a 13-3 record after their 6-1 league win over Baldwin (Pittsburgh, PA).
