April 23, 2022: Port Byron, IL 61275 The Riverdale Rams baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Mendota Trojans to 3 in the Rams non-league victory on Saturday.
The Rams (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Tigers go into the Three Rivers match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Sherrard was edged by Hall (Spring Valley, IL), 13-1, in a non-league match.
The Trojans (2-9) will now prepare for their match against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets go into the Three Rivers match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Newman Central Catholic edged Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL), 4-1, in a non-league match.
