Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Stamford drops to Watertown
April 23, 2022: Watertown, CT 06795 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Watertown Indians (Watertown, CT) lacrosse squad overwhelmed the visiting Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT), by a tally of 14-4.
The Indians now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Cross for a Naugatuck Valley test on Wednesday, April 27. Watertown will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 18-7 league win over Capital Prep (Hartford, CT). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-2.
In their next game, the Black Knights face the Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT) in a Fairfield County test, on Tuesday, April 26. Stamford will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 5-3 record after their 14-8 league loss to Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT).
