Missouri High School Baseball - New Franklin prevails Sturgeon
April 23, 2024: New Franklin, MO 65274 New Franklin Bulldogs (New Franklin, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sturgeon Bulldogs (Sturgeon, MO), 10-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, New Franklin upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Westran (Huntsville, MO) to battle the Hornets in a Class 2 District 7 test on Monday, April 29. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 9-3.
With the defeat, Sturgeon falls to 7-8 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to North Callaway (Kingdom City, MO) to battle the Thunderbirds in a non-league test on Friday, April 26. The Thunderbirds come into the test with a record of 12-6. North Callaway won 3-1 in their recent league test against Silex (Silex, MO)
