Colorado High School Baseball - Yuma loses to Sterling
April 23, 2024: Sterling, CO 80751 The Sterling Tigers crushed the visiting Yuma Outlaws baseball team by a count of 13-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Platte Valley for a 3A Patriot bout on Wednesday, April 24. Sterling will face a Broncos team coming off a 12-2 league win over Highland (Ault, CO). The Broncos record now stands at 9-5.
Next, the Outlaws face the Akron Rams (Akron, CO) in a 1A District 5 bout, on Friday, April 26. Yuma will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 12-4 record after their 12-5 non-league loss to Limon (Limon, CO).
