April 23, 2024: Smithsburg, MD 21783 Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Brunswick Railroaders (Brunswick, MD), 12-10 in a non-league battle.
The Leopards now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Carroll for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 25. Smithsburg will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 17-9 non-league win over Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-4.
In their next game, the Railroaders clash with the North Hagerstown Hubs (Hagerstown, MD) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 25. Brunswick will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Hubs come into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 10-8 league loss to Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD).
