Maine High School Lacrosse - Lake Region drops to Maranacook
April 23, 2024: Naples, ME 04055 Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME), 15-4 in a league test.
The Black Bears now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Brewer for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 1.
In their next game, the Lakers face the Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME) in a Class C contest, on Thursday, April 25. Lake Region will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Clippers come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 10-8 non-league win over Cheverus (Portland, ME).
