April 23, 2024: Mechanicsville, VA 23111 The Mechanicsville Mustangs crushed the visiting King William Cavaliers baseball team by a count of 11-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host New Kent for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 24. Mechanicsville will face a Trojans team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-0.
Next, the Cavaliers face the Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 25. King William will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 0-3 record after their 26-0 non-league loss to Middlesex (Saluda, VA).
