April 23, 2024: Washington, DC 20009 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Bell Griffins (Washington, DC) and the host Cardozo Clerks (Washington, DC), witnessed Bell's softball squad prevail over Cardozo by a count of 24-8.
The Griffins now sport a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Banneker for a match on Thursday, April 25. Bell will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 16-11 league win over Coolidge (Washington, DC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Cardozo moves to 1-3 on the season. The Clerks host School Without Walls (Washington, DC) to face the Penguins in a match on Thursday, April 25. The Penguins go into the match with a record of 4-3. School Without Walls won 19-2 in their recent league match against Eastern (Washington, DC)
