April 23, 2024: Bellwood, PA 16617 Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils (Bellwood, PA), 10-5 in a league challenge.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hollidaysburg for a Mountain - Northern challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Tyrone will face a Golden Tigers squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Bedford (Bedford, PA). The Golden Tigers record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Bellwood-Antis falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Richland (Johnstown, PA) to face the Rams in a Laurel Highlands 1 challenge on Thursday, April 25. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 6-2. Richland won 8-3 in their recent league challenge against Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA)
