April 23, 2024: Louisburg, KS 66053 Fort Scott Tigers (Fort Scott, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Louisburg Wildcats (Louisburg, KS), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Paola for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 25. Fort Scott will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 15-8 league loss to Spring Hill (Spring Hill, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, Louisburg falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Frontenac (Frontenac, KS) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26.
