Maine High School Softball - John Bapst Memorial bounces Waterville
April 23, 2024: Waterville, ME 04901 John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Waterville Panthers (Waterville, ME), 23-3 in a league challenge.
The Crusaders now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Presque Isle for a Class B North challenge on Saturday, April 27. John Bapst Memorial will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Houlton (Houlton, ME). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Waterville drops to 0-2 on the year. The Panthers host Caribou (Caribou, ME) to clash with the Vikings in a Class B North game on Saturday, April 27. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 1-0. Caribou won 23-22 in their recent non-league game against Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME)
