April 23, 2024: Woodstock, IL 60098 Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL), 15-12 in a league challenge.
The Indians now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodstock for a Kishwaukee River challenge on Thursday, April 25. Marengo will face a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 0-15.
With the loss, Woodstock North falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Plano (Plano, IL) to face the Reapers in a Kishwaukee River challenge on Thursday, April 25. The Reapers enter the challenge with a record of 2-17. Plano lost 7-3 in their recent league challenge against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL)
