April 23, 2024: Birmingham, AL 35242 Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Vincent Yellow Jackets (Vincent, AL), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 22-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hewitt-Trussville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. Oak Mountain will face a Huskies squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Curry (Jasper, AL). The Huskies record now stands at 29-6.
With the loss, Vincent falls to 15-12 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 25.
