Delaware High School Softball - Padua Academy holds off Odessa
April 23, 2024: Wilmington, DE 19806 Padua Academy (Wilmington, DE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Odessa Ducks (Townsend, DE), 12-10 in a non-league challenge.
The now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Elizabeth for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 25. Padua Academy will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE). The Vikings record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Odessa falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Ducks travel to William Penn (New Castle, DE) to battle the Colonials in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 25. The Colonials enter the challenge with a record of 6-2. William Penn won 7-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Newark Charter School (Newark, DE)
