The Aquinas Academy Crusaders baseball squad (Gibsonia, PA), was overwhelmed 8-4 in Wednesday's league contest with the host Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA)

With the triumph, Union Area moves its record to 5-7 on the season. The Scotties host Summit Academy (Herman, PA) to confront the Knights in a WPIAL 1A 2 contest on Monday, April 28. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 1-11.

The Crusaders now possess a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph for a WPIAL 1A 2 contest on Monday, April 28.
