New Jersey High School Baseball - Cranford nips Marlboro
April 23, 2025: Cranford, NJ 07016 The Cranford Cougars baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Marlboro Mustangs to 7 in the Cougars non-league win on Wednesday.
The Cougars now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host New Providence for a UCC - Watchung test on Friday, April 25. Cranford will play a Pioneers team coming off a 10-6 league loss to Summit (Summit, NJ). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-7.
With the defeat, Marlboro drops to 2-9 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Rumson-Fair Haven (Rumson, NJ) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 6-6. Rumson-Fair Haven won 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ)
