The South River Rams (South River, NJ) baseball got by the host J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ), 4-3 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Rams now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Plainfield for a GMC - Blue challenge on Friday, April 25. South River will clash with a Canucks team coming off a 1-0 league win over Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, NJ). The Canucks record now stands at 8-2.

With the defeat, J.P. Stevens drops to 3-8 on the year. The Hawks host South Amboy (South Amboy, NJ) to clash with the Governors in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 25.
