Maryland High School Baseball - Wheaton loses to Magruder
April 23, 2025: Rockville, MD 20855 Magruder Colonels (Rockville, MD) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wheaton Knights (Silver Spring, MD), 12-5 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Magruder advances its record to 9-4 on the season. The Colonels host Damascus (Damascus, MD) to battle the Hornets in a Montgomery County 3A/2A match on Friday, April 25. The Hornets come into the match with a record of 11-2. Damascus won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD)
The Knights now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blair for a non-league match on Saturday, April 26. Wheaton will battle a Blazers squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Whitman (Bethesda, MD). The Blazers record now stands at 7-8.
