April 23, 2025: Sanford, NC 27330 The Western Alamance Warriors soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Lee County Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Warriors non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Warriors now possess a 12-0 record. They play next when they host Cedar Ridge for a Central 3A bout on Thursday, April 24. Western Alamance will play a Fighting Red Wolves squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Southern Alamance (Graham, NC). The Fighting Red Wolves record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Lee County moves to 8-7 on the year. The Yellow jackets host Southern Lee (Sanford, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a Sandhills 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, April 29. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Southern Lee lost 5-0 in their recent non-league bout against Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC)
